Company Culture
Only the best and brightest people work for TECO-Westinghouse
Motor Company. That's what makes us successful. We know the value
of excellence and we reward employees accordingly. Responsibility
is handed out based on drive and ability, not on age or seniority.
As individuals we are a collection of different styles and talents
bound together by the undying desire to succeed.
In today's business environment, challenges appear around every
corner. At TWMC, we welcome those challenges. Challenges are what
get us up in the morning, and keep us up at night.
At TECO-Westinghouse Motor Company, it's not all work and no
play. Located on our campus are tennis courts, a volleyball court,
a basketball court, and a full-size softball field complete with
bleachers. It is not uncommon on a Friday evening to find the
Accounting department squared off against Final Assembly in an
intense volleyball match.
Visitors to our campus are greeted by our company mascots - the
two Longhorn cattle who have resided in our front pasture since
the 1980's. Willie and Winchester embody the TWMC culture.
Recognized as the "Trait Leader" in the industry, Texas Longhorn
cattle have endured some of the toughest times and conditions.
The breed gave meaning to the term "survival of the fittest."
Shaped by a combination of natural selection and adaptation to
a changing environment, the Texas Longhorn is considered to be
the only breed of cattle that has literally adapted to America.
TECO-Westinghouse Motor Company is proud to be an Equal Opportunity
Employer. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion,
creed, color, national origin, citizenship, marital status, sex,
age, sexual orientation, veteran status, political ideology, ancestry,
the presence of any physical, sensory, or mental disability, or
any other legally protected status.
If you share the enthusiasm, commitment to excellence, and desire
to build something great, we'd like to invite you to join our
team.
